Massage is the impact of mechanical stimuli to the body tissues for therapeutic or cosmetic. This is done by stroking, kneading, rubbing and patting the skin's surface, which stimulates blood circulation in skin tissue and tissue beneath it and gives a pleasant feeling of relaxation. Accompanying the modern man stress can lead to many diseases or aggravate existing health problems. Adequately performed massages relax tense muscles and reduce pain, and thus indirectly improve the mental and emotional state of patients even with chronic diseases. There are three types of massage: therapeutic, sports and hygienic salon.
If the massage is to be effective, must be implemented vigorously, while so as not to harm the patient. Anyone who wants to be a professional masseur, he must learn the proper technique.
